The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that from 2003-2012, 1,370 people were killed in crashes involving a drunk driver in Massachusetts.

Drivers with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08% or higher are considered alcohol-impaired by law.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released its holiday campaign to remind drivers to have a designated driver for holiday parties and gatherings. They are also reminding people that “buzzed driving is drunk driving”.
